Days 115-116. May 14-15

Spent the night at small marina called Coinjack.  Visited with other boaters and the restaurant was known for prime rib so of course we had it.  This morning left for Norfolk Va. following many boats and one lock.  The drop was only one foot. Arrived at 2pm at Waterside Marina in downtown Norfolk amidst all the navy ships etc. Glad to be in Va.,my birthplace.  Congrats Zach and Marlee on your wedding today!

Hopefully heading to Coinjock tomorrow and then on to Norfolk. Bob beat me again in Sequence last night. Ugh

Day 107-110. May 7-10

Stayed at Grand Dunes one day so Bob could see a friend from work years ago.  He showed us around the Myrtle Beach area and had dinner.  On the 9th we headed to Southport N.C. Love this town, as we have been there many times. Had to go to Provision Company,as it’s tradition.  Met with my cousin Sam and wife Carol for dinner.  They showed us their beautiful home in St James and drove us around.  I’m mad I forgot to take their picture!  Leaving this morning for Topsail.  Weather has been much cooler with high of 70 and 50 at night. We have traveled 2343 miles so far.
