Day 25-27 Feb 10-12

 Been hanging out in Venice with several friends.  Bob North, Mark and Mitzi Bruck, Donna and Denise Fridenmaker, and Karen Leonard.  Very cute downtown area in Old Venice by the marina.  Mitzi was sweet and let us use her car. Great restaurant here at Crowes Nest.   We all watched UK beat Florida together.  I’ve got some great videos and pics to share but I’m having trouble getting them to post   Hopefully you will see them tomorrow

Day 24. Feb 9

 Charlie and Robin McVey stopped by for a short visit.  They are at our marina at Aqua and happened to be boating here also. Bob got a haircut, we took a walk and had toasted coconut ice cream Delicious! After a little organizing, we ate some really good pizza from across the street.  Goodby Bradenton and onto Venice in the morning.

Day 23 Feb 8

 Rick and June Slanker came by to visit on their way to Naples. We  had  breakfast at Robins near the marina and enjoyed our time together.  We were houseboat friends at Lake Cumberland.  The Boyle’s picked us up and went to West Marine and to dinner.  Watching Ky game now. It was a rainy and cold day.

Day22 Feb 7

The Boyle’s

 Hanging out in Bradenton.  Sat by pool, walked around the downtown area by marina.  Our friends,

Pat and Marsha Boyle, met us later in the day and for dinner.  We went to an Irish pub that also specializes 

in martinis!  They were great.

Day 21. Feb 6

 We traveled to Bradenton Florida and will be here for 3 days.  We are staying at Twin Dolphin Marina.  It is very pretty and we can walk around to stores and restaurants. Overcast day

Day15 Jan 31

 It was fun crossing the gulf. It took about 8 hrs.  We left at 6am and arrived around 2pm. Rudy and Jamie Buono met us at the dock when we pulled in along with Mitzi Bruck and her brother Patrick.  I’m sure Mitzi and Mark were glad to see each other after 3 weeks.  The sunrise and sunset were beautiful as was pulling into Clearwater Bay.  The pics aren’t in order for some reason and I can’t figure it out how to arrange them.  This blogging stuff is hard for my old brain!  Enjoyed dinner with the group and spending some time here with the
