Day138. June 6

Left Kingston early morning and traveled the Hudson  and then started the Erie Canal.  Stopped in Schenectady, NY.  Went thru 7 locks by ourselves one after the other.  We were lucky.  Total raise was over 200 ft.  We passed some unique lighthouses . Traveled 69   miles and took us 10 hrs for a long day.

Thomas Edison started his electricity here in 1898.  New York City had the first electricity by GE

 On our way to Kingston NY.  Weather was 73 and went 50 miles.  Perfect day.

Enjoyed the skyline lit up last night in NYC.  Left this morning to travel to Cordon on the Hudson  for 43 miles. Weather was perfect at 80 degrees and no humidity.  Beautiful scenery on our travels.  We are

 Traveling to the Big Apple   Another roller wave day.  We have traveled 3,175 miles so far. Looking forward to see our friends David and Denise Greer from Tn. They are flying in to spend some time traveling with us. It was foggy most of the day as you can see

Day134. June 2

Traveled in 3-4 ft waves today.Rollers! We made it to see our friends, the Jones that we got to know well in Cancun. They live in New Jersey and drove to see us. We had a great time laughing and of course eating at another great restaurant. Heading tomorrow for the Big Apple

Day133. June 1

We are staying in Cape May due to rough seas. Leaving early morning for Manasaqan. Going to see new Top Gun movie. Just came back and the movie was as good as we hoped. It was located in Stone Harbor,another village on Cape May.Cape May is a great town and beach to visit.
